Studio Policies
By booking with us, you agree to the following policies. We've kept them clear and honest β because a great experience starts before you even arrive. π€
Section 01
Booking & Deposits
A valid credit or debit card is required to secure all appointments. No payment is taken at the time of booking β your card details are simply held to protect your reserved time.
By providing your card details, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation and no-show policy outlined below.
Section 02
Reschedules
We understand that life happens! You're welcome to reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
Reschedule requests made within 24 hours of your appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable fee will apply.
Section 03
Cancellations & No-Shows
We hold your appointment time exclusively for you, and last-minute changes have a direct impact on our small studio. The following fees apply:
- 24+ hrsNo charge. Full deposit (if applicable) carried forward or refunded.
- Within 24 hrs50% of the service total will be charged as a late cancellation fee.
- No-show100% of the service total will be charged. This includes arriving 15+ minutes late without prior notice, as we cannot accommodate the service safely within the remaining time.
Fees are automatically charged to the card on file. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in pre-payment being required for future bookings, or booking access being declined at our discretion.
Section 04
Returning with Damaged or Altered Work
Da'vine Beauty Lounge takes great pride in the quality of our work. If you've had lash or brow services performed by another technician between appointments, we may not be able to fill or adjust over that work.
In these cases, a full removal and fresh set may be required at an additional cost.
If you return with lashes that have been pulled, picked, or poorly maintained, we reserve the right to assess the condition before proceeding and recommend the most appropriate service. Pricing may differ from what was originally booked β we'll always let you know before we begin.
Section 05
Wrong Service Booked
Please take care when selecting your service at the time of booking. If you arrive and the incorrect service has been booked, we will do our best to accommodate you β however, this is subject to availability and time constraints on the day.
If the correct service cannot be completed within the allocated appointment time, we may need to reschedule you for the appropriate service. The late cancellation fee may apply in this instance.
Section 06
Client Satisfaction & Refunds
Your satisfaction matters to us, and we stand behind our work. If you have any concerns following your appointment, please contact us within 48 hours so we can assess and address the issue promptly.
We offer complimentary adjustments within 3 days of your appointment for any concerns directly related to the service received β assessed at our discretion and only where the aftercare advice provided by Da'vine Beauty Lounge has been correctly followed.
Please note: Refunds are not offered for:
- Change of mind
- Lifestyle factors β incorrect aftercare, exposure to steam, oil-based products, picking, or pulling
- Natural lash shedding
- Failure to follow pre or post-appointment care instructions
Section 07
Allergies, Sensitivities & Infections
It is your responsibility to disclose any known allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities prior to your appointment. A patch test is available on request and is strongly recommended for first-time lash clients or anyone with sensitive skin or eyes.
Da'vine Beauty Lounge is not liable for adverse reactions where known allergies or sensitivities were not disclosed before the service.
We reserve the right to refuse service if any of the following are present:
- Active eye infection, conjunctivitis, or stye
- Irritation, open wounds, or skin conditions in the eye or brow area that could be aggravated by the service
- Any visible contraindications that could affect your safety or the integrity of the service
Section 08
Photography & Media Release
Da'vine Beauty Lounge loves to celebrate our work! Photos and videos may be taken during or after your appointment for use on our social media platforms, website, and marketing materials.
By booking with us, you consent to photography of the eye and brow area for promotional purposes. Your full face will never be shared without your explicit permission.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know before your appointment and we will respect that completely β no questions asked.
Section 09
Studio Info & Arrival
- Parking is available out the front of the studio.
- On arrival, please message via Instagram or text β the studio door is kept locked for privacy and security. We'll come let you in!
- Payment: Cash and card payments are both accepted.
Section 10
Pre-Appointment Checklist
To ensure the best possible results and retention from your service, please:
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes β extensions do not adhere properly to dirty or oily lashes
- Remove all mascara at least 48 hours prior to your appointment
- Arrive with no eye makeup on the day
- Avoid coffee on the day of your appointment β caffeine causes eye flutter and makes it harder to relax during the service
- Come alone β the studio is a private, one-on-one space and guests cannot be accommodated
